With over 16 years of experience as a big game hunting guide and an NM outfitter with a 90% overall success rate; I feel, we are your best choice as a New Mexico Outfitter. We differ from most other outfitters who primarily rely on leased ranches and/or public lands. We own and operate the Brazos River Ranch with the sole purpose of hunting elk and fly fishing. We also have access to other ranches and public lands, but it's not our only means of operation. Therefore, when you choose your next hunting adventure with us, you can rest assure it’s of quality.

Brazos River Outfitters & Guides Hunt Includes:
Private land tag (no draw) if hunting on private ranches, Guides, Meals, Accommodations, Trophy care, Transportation during your hunt, Preparation and transportation of your game to our meat processor and taxidermist.
Brazos River Outfitters & Guides Hunts Do Not Include:
State license fees, Sales tax, Transportation to the hunt area, Meat processing and shipping, Taxidermy work and Gratuities
Reservation and cancellation policies:
A deposit of 50% of the total hunt is required to book hunt date. Upon receipt of the deposit, a confirmation for a private ranch hunt date (tag guaranteed) or application for the New Mexico public drawing will be sent to you along with suggested equipment list. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will confirm successful applicants of the public draw. Hunt date choices will be determined by the order the deposits are received. Personal check, money order or cashier’s check will be accepted to confirm a hunt date. Balance of account is due 60 days prior to the hunt date. Late payment of account will only be accepted as cash, cashier’s check or money order, NO personal checks will be accepted. Hunters agree to abide by rules and regulations of the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, National Forest, BLM, State Lands or the private land ranch owner. If you wish to cancel a hunt, we will refund your hunt deposit only upon filling your vacancy. If we cannot fill your vacancy your deposit will be forfeited. Deposits of unsuccessful applicants of the public draw will be refunded or can be extended for the next years public draw hunt. If for some unforeseen reason we can’t consummate your hunt, we will return your hunt deposit. All hunt deposit refunds will be charged a $200.00 administration fee.
