TO BRAZOS RIVER RANCH, LLC
Brazos River Ranch is a large private holding belonging to my family,
located in the heart of North Central New Mexico's high country. The Ranch
offers the beauty of secluded raw wilderness, that is unique and beyond compare
in the
Southern Rockies.
The beautiful
Brazos
meadows at 10,000 feet form a panorama of grass flanked by majestic tall
forests, which abound with game. The area is home to the largest population of
free-roaming elk in the state, producing exceptional quality bulls, year after
year. Trophy mule deer along with bear, lion and grouse are plentiful in the
area. Water, water everywhere! Numerous springs originate on the Ranch property
feeding several smaller streams that flow into the
Brazos
River.
Native cutthroat, book and rainbow trout are plentiful in the
Brazos
and its tributaries. The East and West forks of the
Brazos
join on the northern boundary to form the main
Brazos
River,
which flows through the entire middle of the Ranch. This river is one of the few
great fishing streams that is on and controlled by private ownership.
